报告题目：On coupled nonlinear Schrodinger systems with mixed couplings
报告摘要：This talk will study a type of nonlinear Schrodinger system with mixed couplings which appears in modeling of Bose-Einstein condensates theory. While most existing works in the literature concern with purely attractive or purely repulsive couplings (i.e, all coupling constants have the same signs), we examine the effect of mixed nonlinear couplings on the solution structure and obtain vector solutions with some of the components synchronized between them while being segregated with the rest of the components simultaneously.

报告题目：Solitary wave solutions to a quasilinear Schrodinger equation
报告摘要：This talk is concerned with a quasilinear Schrodinger equation in RN involving critical exponents, which models the self-channeling of a high-power ultra short laser in matter. We obtain an existence result on its solitary wave solutions by using a change of variables, variational argument and a Pohozaev type identity.
彭双阶教授简介: 彭双阶，华中师范大学教授，数学与统计学学院院长，博士生导师。2011年获得国家杰出青年科学基金，2012年获得第六届湖北省优秀科技工作者，2007年入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2010年获得湖北省自然科学一等奖，2009年获教育部自然科学二等奖、2003年获中国科学院院长特别奖。《数学物理学报》（中、英文版）常务编委、《Journal of Scientific Research and Report》编委。主要研究方向为非线性偏微分方程、非线性泛函分析和奇异摄动问题。先后发表学术论文六十余篇，研究成果主要发表在Adv. Math., Math. Ann., Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., J. Funct. Anal., Calc. Var. PDEs., Comm. PDEs等国际著名学术期刊上，SCI他引达600余次。
邓引斌教授简介：邓引斌，湖北天门人，桂苑名师。国务院特殊津贴获得者，教育部优秀骨干教师获得者，国家自然科学基金重点项目主持人，国家双语教学示范课主持人。曾任数学与统计学学院院长。主要从事微分方程的教学与研究工作。多次主持国家自然科学基金项目和教育部各类基金的研究。多次应邀出访美国、香港、瑞士、澳大利亚等国家和地区。在SCI期刊上发表论70多篇。研究成果曾获教育部自然科学二等奖和湖北省自然科学一等奖。
